Crazy ‘SOC’ Run

Managing Director of A-lign™, Scott Price, announced today the launching of its first Crazy ‘SOC’ Run, a nationwide 5k team relay with a potential grand prize of $6,000 in auditing services. Four-member teams are invited to register and compete between the dates of July 1 and September 30, 2011. The choice of Crazy ‘SOC’ Run is based upon the recent release of the AICPA’s new Service Organization Controls (SOC) reports forms.

The Crazy ‘SOC’ Run is a competition without borders; team members from the entering businesses may finish their individual races any time and any place within the timeframe given for the competition. Online verification of individual race results is required. The fastest aggregate time of all four team-members wins the grand prize. In lieu of $6,000 in auditing services, the grand prize winner may opt for A-lign™ to donate $3,000 to a charity of its their choice. All participating businesses that enter full teams and fulfill the terms of the competition will be awarded a $500 discount toward its their next audit performed by A-lign™. The winner of the Crazy ‘SOC’ Run will be announced no later than October 31, 2011.
